A New Dimension in Journalism
The joint effort by AWWA and SSF is a commendable step towards bringing change in society. Under the leadership of senior journalist Archana Sharma, 50 students have already received training in innovative journalism at the Army Public School. The trained students have started writing stories, showcasing their creativity.
A Step towards Change in Society
Col. SS Rathore, SO, Sapthshakti Command, addressed the program, calling it an effective step towards change in society. He emphasized the importance of utilizing technology, especially smartphones, to bring about changes in daily life and become the voice of society. He added that this initiative could be revolutionary for women’s empowerment. The goal is to share stories of art, crafts, culture, food, and handmade products from India’s interiors with the world and write the script for Brilliant India’s success.
Students’ Encouraging Experience
The trained students expressed their enthusiasm for the program. Bhavesh, a student, said, “This course has brought about significant changes in my everyday life. I have started writing my own blogs, which are receiving good collaborations.” Mahima Rathore, a student of Army Public School, who anchored the program, said, “After the training, I have learned many new things, and now I have 82,000 followers on my YouTube channel.”
Dimple Arora, a member of the Saksham Sanchar Foundation, thanked the AWWA members, saying that this joint effort by AWWA and SSF has been made, keeping in mind the future possibilities. She added that this innovation will be expanded across the country in the coming times, focusing on empowering the youth and women.
